~ ALL PLAYERS ~
As we head into a new year, there are changes coming to the APA. I recently sent out an email to ALL our local players explaining the new 8Ball Scoring System that is coming and the changes in the APA Singles Program, along with information about your new APA Membership Card, which will now be a Plastic one. If you haven't opened your email from me, I encourage you to do so and be up to date with the latest information about your league. If we don't have your email address in our files, or you have changed it since you provided it to us, obviously you didn't receive the email. Week One of the Spring Session (which begins Wednesday, January 2nd), will have what is called a WHITE FORM, one for each team, in your Team Envelope, with areas for you to double check all your information and a place to either provide your email addres or change it if necessary. In the past, all Membership Cards were sent to the League Office for distribution. Starting in 2013, they will be included in your Membership Kit, which is mailed directly to your home, from St. Louis, so make sure your address is correct on the White Form.

As an APA Team Captain (or Co-Captain), I know you sometimes feel you have a thankless job. Most of you pick-up and drop-off your team envelopes, collect the memberships and weekly fees, keep score for your team, etc. etc. etc. ... you sometimes even get blamed for matching up the wrong players when your team loses in the playoffs.
Jane and I, along with our entire staff, just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU for all of your efforts and the hard work you put into managing your teams.
